Design of frames for Dog Moments Art paintings

The aim of the proposal is to appropriately complement the images generated by artificial intelligence on dogmoments.art. The frames consist of an outer and an inner part. Their total width is divided by the golden ratio. Thanks to this, it should have a harmonious and stabilizing effect on the whole image and appropriately connect it to the space where the image will be placed. The plasticity of the frame is complemented by the shading. Printing on solid sheet metal will thus create a greater sense of depth.

The range of frames includes 6 colours and 2 structures imitating wood.

The frame colour can be conveniently combined with a range of styles.

Process of production

The substrate for the application comprises a frame with an overlap for curving. A grey area is used for visibility of the outer edge, but will be transparent. The generated image is inserted into the frame. The substrate also contains the logo.

The print substrates consist of the output from the application and the substrate for printing the varnish. The grey colour is used only for the visibility of the outer edge of the print substrate.

The substrate for the varnish print is prepared in black and is used to print the image with a layer of varnish. The varnish will highlight the wooden part of the frame and the edge of the generated image. The line is 1 mm thick.

The preview shows the final form of the product after bending the halyards. The solution provides for dynamic insertion of creation date and image data and description of the art style.

The visual style preview can have a landcape and portrait orientation. The design therefore includes a square base. The dynamically inserted visual style motif will always be placed in a square within 5 mm of its edges.
